Annie’s Angels Fiscal Sponsorship Program

When insurance won’t cover… we can help. - Sometimes, even with insurance and community support, there are still gaps — unexpected costs that stand between you and the care or equipment you truly need. That’s where Annie’s Angels can step in.

Through our Fiscal Sponsorship Program, Annie’s Angels helps individuals and families raise funds for essential needs that fall outside of what insurance or traditional support programs can cover.

How Fiscal Sponsorship Works

When you or a loved one faces a medical or life challenge that creates a financial burden, Annie’s Angels can act as your fiscal sponsor — a trusted nonprofit partner that helps you legally and transparently raise money for your specific need.

We set up a dedicated donation fund under your name (or your organization’s name), and your community can make tax-deductible donations through Annie’s Angels. Together, we help ensure your fundraiser runs smoothly, funds are handled properly, and your story reaches caring hearts ready to help.

Real-Life Examples

  • Wheelchair Van: Insurance won’t cover the cost of a specialized van, and it’s above Annie’s Angels’ normal giving limit. Fiscal sponsorship can help raise the remaining funds to make mobility possible.

  • Pre-Surgery Dental Work: Insurance covers the heart surgery — but not the dental work required before it can happen. Annie’s Angels can help fundraise for that dental care, clearing the way for life-saving surgery.

  • Long-Term Disability Support: When illness prevents work and disability payments fall short, fiscal sponsorship can help raise funds to cover essential monthly bills and living expenses during recovery.

Our Promise

Annie’s Angels is here to help people facing life-changing medical and financial challenges. As your fiscal sponsor, we provide:

  • A dedicated fundraising page on the Annie’s Angels website

  • Donation processing and recordkeeping for transparency

  • Guidance and support from an Annie’s Angels board representative

  • A caring partner who understands your situation and wants to help you succeed

Terms of Fiscal Sponsorship

To ensure every fundraiser aligns with our mission and operates smoothly, here are a few important details:

1. Mission Alignment:
Annie’s Angels will act as fiscal sponsor if the beneficiary or the service provided directly supports our mission of helping local families struggling financially due to life-threatening illnesses, diseases, or disabilities.

2. Fund Setup & Duration:
A donation page will be created under a designated fund name. Donations are accepted for 30 days from the start date. Funds must be used within 120 days after the fundraising period, unless otherwise agreed upon. Any unused funds are transferred to the Angel Fund to support future families in need.

3. Fundraising Oversight:
Annie’s Angels must be consulted on all fundraising activities related to this sponsorship. A board representative will oversee events and ensure donations are processed properly.

4. Administrative Fee:
To help sustain our mission, Annie’s Angels retains:

10% of new monthly donations or event proceeds, or 10% for large-scale events requiring significant staff support (such as tournaments or galas). No fees are collected in months with no income.

5. Integrity & Transparency:
Any misrepresentation of need or violation of the agreement will result in forfeiture of funds to the Angel Fund. All activities must reflect Annie’s Angels’ values and maintain our nonprofit status.

6. Termination:
Either party may terminate the agreement in writing. Remaining funds may be used to settle final bills or transferred to another approved 501(c)(3) organization or to the Angel Fund.

7. Liability & Legal Terms:
Applicants agree to hold Annie’s Angels harmless from any claims related to the fundraiser. This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of New Hampshire.

Our Mission in Action

At Annie’s Angels, we believe no family should face hardship alone. When unexpected needs arise — needs that don’t fit neatly into an insurance policy or assistance program — we’re here to bridge the gap with compassion, accountability, and hope.

Together, we make sure love shines through even in the toughest times.
